Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The Glasgow Depression Scale (GDS) is used as the primary outcome parameter to assess depressive symptoms (T0 and T1 after 4 weeks). The GDS is a self-report questionnaire for mild to moderate intelligence impairment (IM). For subjects who are unable to self-rate, we elicit depressive symptoms via the Glasgow Depression Scale - Carer Supplement (GDS-CS).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcome parameters are the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSE) to measure self-esteem (T0 and T1) and to assess the degree of self-esteem in the last week (at T0 and T1 after 4 weeks), 8 items of the WHOQoL Questionnaire in easy language to assess quality of life (T0 and T1). Secondary parameters will also be assessed by a carer-supplement rating, if subjects are able to complete the self-rating. At T0, sociodemographic data and psychiatric history will additionally be collected. At T1 after 4 weeks, patient satisfaction will additionally be assessed by the Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire (ZUF-8).
