Interventions

Group 1: In patients, 3 stimulation spots (over the tumor, adjacent to the tumor, contralateral) will be stimulated with 150 TMS pulses while an EEG is recorded. Group 2: In healthy controls, 2 stimul

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Amplitude of low-frequency TEP-components (< 4Hz) 8-350ms after the TMS pulse

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Power of high-frequency EEG components (>20Hz) 150-350ms after the TMS pulse; Local and global signal complexity measured as PCIst; Resting-state power spectral density of the 4 EEG-electrodes around the respective stimulation sites; Number of deflections in the EEG signal; Motor status measured with the BMRC for upper and lower extremities; Finger tapping score; Time required to perform the 9-hole peg test; Aachener Aphasie Test Score; Montreal-Cognitive Assessment Test Score
