Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Cases: Patients with histologically proven inverted papilloma. - Controls: Patients who had a tissue sample taken as part of surgery on the nose or sinuses, e.g., as part of surgical care for nasal obstruction, nasal polyps, mucoceles, or chronic sinusitis. Patients are matched by age (+/- 2 years), sex, date of surgery (approximately +/- 1 year).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Minors, legally guarded persons, insufficient DNA/RNA quality of tissue samples.
