Conditions

We examine both healthy people and people with underlying health conditions.

Interventions

Group 1: The first arm is tested by examiner 1 first, second by examiner 2. The following applies to both arms. The data collection takes place once in the university center for naturopathy in Freibur

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Do the two examiners, who act independently from each other, get the same result? Process: passive movement of the arm by the examiner; the participant is supposed to relax their arm as best as possible. Total result: 0 - 4 2-part-score: 0 – 2 (elbow joint and shoulder joint) 0 = perfectly relaxed 1 = fairly tensed up 2 = extremly tensed up

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Does the measured ability for muscular relaxation correlate with the age? Does the measured ability for muscular relaxation correlate with the prior experience with relaxation training? Does the measured ability for muscular relaxation correlate with the current subjective stress level? -> Cohens PSS-10 Does the measured ability for muscular relaxation correlate with the subjective muscular tension? -> numeric rating scale from 0 to 10 Does the measured ability for muscular relaxation correlate with existent stress-associated diseases? Is the test viable?
