Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Reliable diagnosis of epilepsy, Inpatient monitoring/treatment, no changes in the patient‘s basic/concomitant medication during the study, written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: mophological thorax changes which impede the radar-based heart rate detection, like funnel chest or edema in the upper body, cardiovascular diseases
