Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Trigeminal neuralgia with vascular nerve conflict and indication for surgery according to Jannetta

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Destructive surgical procedure already performed, exclusion criteria for objective olfactometry

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Shortening of the latency times on the diseased side after the operation, measured by objective olfactometry, before the operation, 7 days after the operation and 3 to 6 months after the operation

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increase/normalization of the amplitudes on the diseased side after the operation
