Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.) There are relevant differences between the groups with regard to gender, sexual orientation, use of other illicit substances and mental illness: 1. non-GHB/GBL users 2. occasional users 3. dependent users 2.) People with regular or dependent patterns of use are more likely to experience complications (overdose, loss of consciousness, hospitalization) than occasional users.

Secondary

Consumption at private events or in private rooms leads more often to complications than consumption in public places such as clubs. 3.) Regular or dependent users are more likely to be motivated to use to avoid negative emotions and are more likely to use alone/home than occasional users. 4.) Support for safer use and educational offers are rated by consumers as more helpful than restrictive prevention approaches. 5.) On average, people living in Berlin use GHB/GBL more frequently than people living in other German cities.
