Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Participating patients may be diagnosed with a previously unrecognized condition (sleep apnea) that may be relevant to their health condition. After adequate treatment of OSAS, the dysphagia symptoms would theoretically also improve. If our hypothesis is confirmed, the search for an OSAS may become standard in patients with dysphagia. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| A secondary aim of the study should be whether the questionnaires we use also serve as standard diagnostics for OSAS in swallowing disorders. | — |
