Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: adult pregnant women with a fetus with congenital heart defect. Adult pregnant women with a healthy fetus.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Lack of informed consent from the study participant or (expectant) parents. - Diagnosed psychiatric illness of the study participant, currently undergoing treatment or about to undergo treatment.

| The maternal emotional burden (measured by the parameters anxiety, depression and stress) at the following measuring points. 4 measuring points 1) Prenatal, diagnosis of CHD in fetal echocardiography during first trimester screening (12-14th gestational week). - maternal emotional burden measured with questionnaires -Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (SSTAI) -Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) -Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) compared to pregnant women without fetal CHD diagnosis 2) prenatal, repetition of sonography ("organ ultrasound") (22-24th gestational week) - maternal emotional burden measured with questionnaires - "Spielberger State Anxiety Inventory" (SSAI) -EPDS -PSS - Socioeconomic status (SES) objective (educational level, income, employment status) - SES subjective ("MacArthur Scale of Subjective Social status") - Head circumference in fetuses with prenatal diagnosis of CHD compared to fetuses without diagnosis of CHD 3) Birth of the child with CHD 4) Cardiac surgery of the child with CHD - Maternal emotional burden measured with questionnaires -SSAI -EPDS -PSS | — |
