Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Influence of the consumption of 1000 ml of water directly before BIA on body compartments and impedance raw-data; after baseline BIA measurement in fasting state, study participants consume 1000 mL of water; afterwards, i.e. 20 min, 40 min and 60 min after baseline measurement, 3 further BIA measurements are performed; all study participants are measured on two consecutive days and pass through 2 conditions: 1. Intervention condition = drinking of 1000 ml of water; 2. Control condition = waiting until further BIA measurement | — |

| In addition, the German Dietary Behavior Inventory (GDBI), a nutritional survey instrument, which was recently established at our clinic (Engelmann et al. 2021), is used as part of this study and checked to what extent the score in healthy, young, slim women deviates from that of the convenience sample and whether besides the association with the BMI there is a association with body compartments. | — |
