Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Peripheral arterial vascular disease (stage III & IV) with ulceration/s at the lower extremity/extremities, age < 17 years, informed consent on the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Inability of the patient to give informed consent, terminal disease with life expectancy < 12 months, malign tumor disease, condition after organ transplantation, participation in a pharmacological study, pregnancy, implanted insulin pump, implanted cardiac pacemaker, dementia or cognitive dysfunction

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Proof of a 10 % improved microcirculation in the lower extremities or wound healing (visual appearance, wound size, wound bed), if applicable complete wound closure

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of the quality of life, reduction of pain, improvement of sleep quality
