Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients, who stayed a minimum of 48h on the neonatal intensive care unit, and who have received at least on microbiological screening sample

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - patients, who stayed less than 48h on the neonatal intensive care unit - patients, who did not receive a microbiological screening sample - patients, where no microbiological detection was possible

aim: - detection of potential transmission events of bacterial of the same species between different patients, that are not distinguishable after genotyping - description of colonisation of neonates with bacteria
