Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Age of majority • Positive "CMD screening test" according to Jakstat and Ahlers
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Minor • Previously known or no definite TMD diagnosis • Previously received TMD treatments (medications, massages, exercises, splint, etc.) • Surgery on the temporomandibular joint and surrounding structures

| CMD group: Completion of follow-up of subjects after completion of remedy prescription and splint therapy. Control group: completion of follow-up of subjects after 6 months. All subjects are examined raster stereographically and by intraoral scan at different time points and the changes over time are analyzed. Thus, the CMD patients receive five measurement time points within half a year and the control group receives two measurement time points within this period. | — |
