Group 1: Included are patients planned for liver resection. Preoperatively, all patients with malignant disease undergo a CT abdomen and thorax as standard of care. Resections were performed using cru

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Liver resection of any kind - written consent to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Lack of consent - Patient mentally/cognitively pre-diseased and unable to consent - Lack of resection of the liver - preexisting liver resection less than 3 months prior to surgery
