Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patient with regular unilateral first time CI indication; CI programming allows setting of customized filter bank; Duration of deafness less than 10 years (implanted ear); Complete or near complete insertion of CI-electrode; unilateral provision of CI
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Congenital deafness or congenital profound hearing loss, compromised speech development, compromised auditory nerve, CI-programming does not allow setting of individualized filter bank, partial insertion of CI-electrode
