Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: At least 65 years of age, residual/full dentition, at least 10 approximal spaces, consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Under 65 years of age, edentulous subjects, less than 10 approximal spaces, treatment in a periodontology department, last dental cleaning < 6 months ago, subjects with serious general illnesses who cannot reasonably be expected to participate, subjects who are incapable of giving their consent.

| The primary target value is the plaque record control (PCR) value. This is a value that indicates the teeth affected with plaque in comparison to the plaque-free tooth areas as a percentage value. The PCR value is collected at both the 1st and 2nd session by staining the tooth surfaces with a colour solution. | — |

| The secondary target value is the Ginigval Bleeding Index (GBI). This is a value that provides information about gum health. The GBI value is determined at both the 1st and 2nd session by running a blunt probe along the transition between the tooth and the gum. The GBI value is also a percentage value. | — |
