Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • very good knowledge of German • right-handed
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • metal on/in the body (e.g. stents, copper IUDs, piercings that cannot be removed) • smoker • acute illnesses and/or taking medication • history of neurological or psychiatric disorders • hormonal contraceptives (e.g. pill, ring, patch etc.) • pregnancy or lactation • psychology studies in an advanced semester (from 3rd BSc)

| Investigation of the influence of a psychosocial stressor on social learning and the brain processes involved. After the stress or control manipulation, the participants go through an observation and decision-making paradigm. This consists of trials in which another person's gambling decisions are observed, and trials in which the subjects gamble themselves. In the observation rounds, the participants can try to learn the goal pursued by the other; in the play trials they can use this knowledge to their own advantage. In addition to model-free measures such as the gambling choices and performance, the expectation and decision-making processes are examined with a computational model and its parameters are linked to brain activity. | — |
