Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - chronic tinnitus (duration = 6 months) - Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) score = 18 (indicating at least a mild tinnitus handicap)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - tinnitus-related therapy within the last 3 months - similar therapy with long term effects e.g., noiser
