Group 1: Group A: low-level laser therapy using soft tissue diode LASER will be exposed in 8 points (cervical and apical ) on the buccal and lingual mucosa (mesially and distally) of the maxillary and

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Complete eruption of all four first permanent molars with adjacent second premolar and second permanent molar in all quadrant present. 2. No caries or restorations on posterior teeth. 3. Tight interproximal contacts. 4. Age between 18 to 25 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with previous orthodontic treatment. 2. Severely rotated first or second molars. 3. Metabolic and periodontal diseases, or medication were excluded.

MeasureTime frame
Pain severity will be assessed by a questionnaire containing 8 copies of a 100 mm visual analog scale (VAS). The assessment will be at 5 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, and 96 hours after the separators were applied.
