Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The experiment will include adult (18-50 years), healthy participants who do not have any of the diseases listed in the exclusion criteria and do not regularly consume specific medications or substances. Participants will be asked not to smoke, engage in strenuous physical activity, or consume caffeinated beverages for up to 6 hours prior to the start of the experiment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria are previous cardiovascular disease (e.g., arrhythmia, valvular heart disease, hypertension), COP, including familial COP, medication for thyroid disease, hypertension, cardiac medications such as beta-blockers and antidepressants, pregnancy, regular drug use, nicotine use, and/or excessive alcohol consumption.

| Differences in recovery from psychological (mood), cardiovascular (heart rate variability), and endocrinological (cortisol) stress, relative to the control group. Heart rate variability is measured with a chest strap to be worn for the entire duration of the experiment. At approximately 10-minute intervals, a total of seven mood questionnaires are answered and seven saliva samples are collected with salivettes for cortisol determination. | — |
