Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Presence of ankylosing spinal disease (ankylosing spondylitis or diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis, DISH, Forestiers disease, etc.). Presence of an acute unstable thoracic or lumbar spine injury surgical therapy by means of long-distance dorsal instrumentation with internal fixator in CRIF or ORIF technique

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Additionally, ventral stabilization of the fracture was performed Pathological cause of fracture in the sense of primary bone tumors or metastases or on the basis of bacterial-inflammatory diseases (spondylodiscitis) Additional injuries of the lower extremities resulting in limited mobility in stance and gait
