Interventions

Group 1: patient group - breath samples are given into the machine before and after dialysis. The blood is checked in clinical routine Group 2: control group - one breath sample is given into the mach

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with chronic kidney disease, who get dialysis three times a week and that can decide about their participation themself. Healthy control subjects have no specific inclusion criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients that are not awake or not able to decide about the participation. Patients that are dialysed less or more often than three times a week. Healthy control subjects can not have any other diseases.

Primary

Measure	Time frame
The development of the phenol concentration before and after dialysis is analyzed and compared with the concentrations of the control group. A correlation to the blood results is analyzed.	—
