Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - patients with a CI implantet at the medical center Helios München West - older than 18 years of age - willing and able to participate - good command of German for the understandig of questionnaires and speech test material

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - younger than 18 years of age - lack of decision-making ability - no willingness to cooperate - revision surgery during the study participation - lack of sufficient command of German

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of subjective appraisal of cochlea implant provision using validated quality of life questionnaires with at least 60 CI recipients.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluation of predictive factors on the subjective success of the treatment (e.g. tinnitus suppression), rating of correlations between subjective success and audiometric test results.
