Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome measures will be collected via online questionnaire using the LimeSurvey platform. The target variables are measured each in the Pre-testing (within 2 weeks before the intervention), Post-testing (within 2 weeks after the intervention) and Follow-up testing (3 months after the post-testing). First, the subjective stress load as well as the evaluation and further processing of stressors with the four factors tension, demands, worries and joy are surveyed by the Perceived Stress Questionnaire (PSQ) (Fliege, H., Rose, M., Arck, P., Levenstein, S., & Klapp, B. F. (2001). Validierung des “perceived stress questionnaire” (PSQ) an einer deutschen Stichprobe. Diagnostica, 47(3), 142-152.) Second, various health-related variables are measured. These are: 1. Allgemeine Depressionsskala (ADS-K): The short form ADS-K is the German language version of the "Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale" (CES-D). This questionnaire measures depressive moods, physical complaints, motor inhibition, and negative thinking patterns (Hautzinger, M., & Bailer, M. (1993). Allgemeine depressions-skala: ADS; manual. Beltz-Test-GmbH.). 2. Gießener Beschwerdebogen (GBB - 24): On the basis of a 5-point scale, psychosomatic aspects of physical complaints are recorded in the areas of: a) exhaustion, b) stomach complaints, c) pain in the limbs, and d) heart complaints (Brähler, E., Hinz, A., & Scheer, J.W. (2008). GBB-24: Der Gießener Beschwerdebogen (3. Überarb. Aufl.). Hogrefe.) 3. Recovery Experience Questionnaire (REQ): The REQ is used to assess the recovery capacity from the demands of working life that exists during leisure time. This involves distinguishing between four scales of recovery ability or recovery experience: a) switching off from work, b) relaxation, c) mastery, and d) control (Sonnentag, S., & Fritz, C. (2007). The Recovery Experience Questionnaire: development and validation of a measure for assessing recuperation and unwinding from work. Journal of occupationa

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary target criterion is the objective stress load, which is analyzed by means of the software "Stress Pilot® Pro" (BITsoft, mobee360 3.2.4.0, 2022). The software records biological stress parameters by recording heart rate variability. The target criterion is measured in each case at Pre-, Post- and Follow-up testing.
