| Study objectives 1) Investigation of correlations between child-related variables before the start of intervention (t1/t2) and positive reinforcement situations in the initial phase of A-FFIP intervention (1st session with the child) 2) Investigate mediating effects of Positive Reinforcement between child related variables and changes in autism symptomatology after half a year of intervention Data/variables: Change in autism related symptoms will be measured by BOSCC score between t1 (baseline) and Tt4. The child-related variables included are: Non-verbal cognitive abilities (Bayley-III / WPPSI-III), expression of repetitive-restrictive and stereotypic behavior (Parent Questionnaire RBS-R), expression of early social communication behaviors (ESCS) The child-related variables and scores of the BOSCC are taken from the data pool of the A-FFIP study (DRKS00016330). Positive Reinforcement is scored using the OPCIS coding system based on video recordings of the A-FFIP intervention sessions up to t4 (approximately every 8th session). The analyzed video recordings were recorded during the A-FFIP study (DRKS00016330). | — |
