Group 1: Periodontal therapy according to §22a with direct start of therapy. A total of 4 appointments are planned. Baseline appointment, Follow up1, Follow up2, Follow up 3. At each of the appointmen

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: need for periodontal treatment Entitlement to periodontal therapy according to the instutional guideline PA-treatment section §22a Resident:in a nursing home no antiobiotic therapy in the last 6 months no antibiotic therapy necessary for the performance of the PA treatment course

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a life-threatening condition with imminent death of the resident, if the requirements of the health insurance company for participation in the PA treatment pathway according to §22a are not met (e.g. only anesthesia treatment possible)
