Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Female, male, and diverse patients - Diagnosis of acute respiratory failure - age > 18 years < 80 years - Treatment in the intensive care units 0119/0041/0141/1022 of Göttingen University Medical Center - Deep sedation (RASS score -4/-5) - Arterial blood pressure measurement for clinical indication
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Age 80 years - Lack of consent - Elevated intra-abdominal pressure (baseline) - Severe AVK - Heart failure = NYHA I - Renal artery stenosis - Z.n. nephrectomy/splenectomy - Z.n. abdominal surgery < 6 months
