Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reaching the minimum number of n=350 from patient data in the UKD database over an observation period from January 1st, 2018 to July 1st, 2020 (dysgnathia: December 12th, 2020), deadline for establishing the guidelines: June 1st, 2019. Aim for a sample size that is as balanced as possible, even with smaller case groups such as tumors and augmentations. With a balanced ratio of experimental to control group, in order to synthesize a statistically high-quality elaboration on the question of the success of guideline implementation.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Achievement of a heterogeneous distribution between comparison and control group to compare more elective versus more extensive antibiotic prophylaxis and investigation of the effects of this on complications in the course of wound healing. As well as checking the successful establishment of the newly implemented guideline.
