It is investigated whether metacognitive training can increase the tolerance of conservatives towards postmodern-liberal LGBTIQ+ persons. For this purpose, the dependent variables "Evaluation of LGBTIQ+ persons", "Perception of threat by LGBTIQ+ persons", "Stereotypes towards LGBTIQ+ persons" and "(Negative) feelings towards LGBTIQ+ persons" as well as "Antidemocratic attitudes" will be examined. The study will be published on Wednesday, 25.05.2022. The experimental design is a 3-group (MKT vs. Education vs. No-Treatment) randomized controlled between-subjects design. The following scales will be used: Feeling Thermometer (Henry&Sears, 2002), Modern Homonegativity Scale (Morrison&Morrison, 2002).
