Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Spinal cord injury - Age = 18 years - anus-near pressure ulcer stage 3 or 4 - surgical treatment of the ulcer.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Decubitus stage 1 or 2 - no pressure ulcer at all - insufficient data.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Microbial colonisation depending on the presence of a stoma.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Days until complete wound healing - duration of hospital stay - treatment on the ICU - number of surgical procedure necessary for wound healing - occurrence of a superinfection - complications - ulcer recurrence.
