Group 1: Patients after spinal injury without spinal cord injury are contacted by telephone and interviewed once. In addition, they will be sent questionnaires that they complete once: SF-36, ODI, NDI

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Spinal fracture or discoligamentary spinal cord injury with inpatient therapy at the BG Klinik Ludwigshafen from 2016 – 2020 2) Prior to spinal injury, either employed (inclusion of partial aspect RTW) or athletically active (inclusion of partial aspect RTS) or both (inclusion of both partial aspects) 3) Age at injury maximum 60 years 4) Time-bound trauma event
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Relevant accompanying injury - Spinal cord injury - limb injuries requiring surgical treatment (except uncomplicated wound care) - Limb injury requiring conservative therapy by immobilization or relief for more than 2 weeks - Moderate or severe head-brain trauma - pelvic injuries 2) Insufficient understanding of the language, which makes it difficult to understand and answer the questionnaires 3) Injury caused by suicide attempt
