Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Ischemic stroke with occlusion of the Internal Carotid Artery and/or Middle Cerebral Artery in segment M1 -Age >18 years -mechanical recanalization = TICI 2b (± Stent)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - technically indiced injury of the vessel (dissection, perforation, rupturation) - significant stenosis common carotid artery, internal carotid artery (NASCET >50%) or middle cerbral artery in segment M1 - lack of visualization of the middle cerebral artery in segment M1

Investigation of the diagnostic quality criteria of SEBFV in comparison to TCD as a standard method for the detection of CHS (sensitivity, specificity each with 95% confidence interval, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, kappa-coefficient, ROC-analysis).
