Inclusion criteria: receives palliative care, is conscious

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Saliva samples: multiresistant germs

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Using questionnaires life satisfaction, cheerfulness, seriousness, bad mood, stress and symptom burden will be recorded before and after the humor intervention. In addition, oxytocin levels will be measured before and after the intervention by collecting a saliva samples. The aim is to detect any potential change in these parameters as a possible result of the humor intervention.

MeasureTime frame
A change/improvement in mood and possibly physical symptoms should be recorded by the above questionnaires and measuring instruments.
