Group 1: Patients with liver cirrhosis without antibiotic prophylaxis, rectal swab at baseline, registration of invasive infections due to E. coli three months pre and post collection of sample Group

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with liver cirrhosis (any Child stage); For the prophylaxis group: taking antibiotic prophylaxis for at least 4 weeks weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: lack of consent to participate in the study, Age < 18 years
