Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pharmacoresistant focal epilepsy, long-term video-EEG recorded with at least 19 surface electrodes (10-20-System) and sphenoidal electrodes, recording of at least 3 clinically apparent epileptic seizures with rhythmic EEG pattern, presurgical high-resolution structural MRI, resective epilepsy surgery; freedom of disabling seizures for at least 12 months after surgery (ILAE outcome classes 1-2)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pre-existent skull defect
