Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients - who were undergoing elective surgery in the year 2021. - who participated in the pharmaceutical medication review at the pre-anaesthesia outpatient clinic in time of hospital admission. - are = 18 years old. Case-group: - all patients with documented drug-related problem(s) Control-group: - patients without drug-related problem(s) (randomly selection)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients not complying with the inclusion criteria.

MeasureTime frame
Impact of the clinical-pharmaceutical service on patient safety. The drug-related problems are characterised according to the PCNE classification and statistically evaluated.

Identification and subsequent validation of risk factors for potential and manifest drug-related problems of patients undergoing elective surgery at the time of hospital admission. Retrospective data collection (primary data) via the hospital information system.
