Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Since October 2004 comprehensive periodontal therapy (anti-infective therapy including subgingival instrumentation under local anesthesia and if required periodontal surgery) - At least one tooth with FI class II prior to treatment (T0) - Complete periodontal examination (PPD and CAL-V at 6 sites/tooth, FI (Hamp et al., 1975) at all furcation sites of multi-rooted teeth) prior to treatment (Baseline, T0) and after accomplishment of APT (re-evaluation 1 or 2/start of SPC, T1) - At least 5 years of SPC (complete periodontal examination at least 5 years after accomplishment of APT, T2) - Complete radiographic examination of dentition (status of periapical radiographs or panoramic radiograph) at T0

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patients for which required inclusion criteria (baseline [T0] and at least 5 years of follow-up) are not fulfilled.
