Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary endpoint for the biopsies is the diagnostic accuracy evaluated by the rate of diagnostic biopsies. Non-diagnostic biopsies are biopsies with too few, fibrotic material or biopsy cores outside the tumor lesion. For the ablation techniques we evaluate rates of local recurrence (therapeutic efficiency).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
For both interventions we will evaluate complication rates after Clavien-Dindo. For biopsies the further therapeutic measures will be documented (resection, ablation, surveillance). For the ablations rates of metastases, survival (overall and cancer specific) and long term complications will be documented.
