| For our feasibility study, acute neurological patients are the target group on the one hand. On the other hand, the therapists in the partner clinics and the three therapists in the telemedical center (ukb) represent the second target group in this project. We chose a mixed-methods study design with a proof of concept approach for our questions. Mixed-methods approaches allow a better access to the evaluation of complex interventions. By means of questionnaires we survey the satisfaction with the telemedical procedure. For this purpose, the semi-standardized questionnaire TeSS (Telehealth Satisfaction Survey) in German translation will be collected from patients and therapists of the partner clinics as well as in a modified or reduced form from the therapists of the ukb. The questionnaire collects demographic data and gender of the patients and therapists as well as the name of the performed finding. A 4-point Likert scale is used to record the characteristic features of the teleneurological findings. In addition, an optional free response option allows patients and therapists to name aspects of the visit that were helpful, report limitations, and provide general feedback. Patients are also asked to indicate whether they would use the service again and whether they would recommend it to others. By specifying the test procedure performed in the TeSS, the assessments can be analyzed individually and conclusions drawn about specific feasibility. In addition, semi-structured interviews will be conducted with both patients and therapists during the course of the project to further inquire about acceptance with telemedical assessments. Compared to other types of interviews, the semi-structured form offers a clearly defined procedure with formulated questions that are asked to all interview partners in the same order.
