Inclusion criteria: voluntary, adult

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: allgery against fish, hematophobia, coagulation disorder

MeasureTime frame
HS omega 3 index = share of EPA and DHA on total fatty acids in the membranes of red blood cells in capillary blood samples before and after 13 weeks of intervention with a daily intake of 1500 mg omega 3 fatty acids and additional 13 weeks with 750 mg omega 3 fatty acids.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
triglyceride, total cholesterol, HDL and LDL concentrations measured in capillary blood cells and blood pressure.
