18 Years to 120 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age > 18 years 2. Able to give informed consent 3. Patients diagnosed with acute appendicitis 4. Patients undergoing an appendectomy 5. Written informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Missing intraoperative or histological proof of acute appendicitis 2. Appendectomy within an other surgical procedure
