Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All participants have to be at least 18 years old, have no strong cognitive impairment and sufficient German reading and speaking abilities (writing and reading). At the beginning of the study the patients must have chronic pain. In order to be included in this voluntary study the patients have to fulfill these criteria and give their written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Excluded will be patients who do not or can not declare their consent (e.g. incomliance or dementia) and/or are not sufficiently able to read, write or speak german and their overall health status does not allow a participation in the study because of health reasons. Excluded are also patients with primary headaches or facial pain.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome is the change in in expectation and the willingness to take OLP via observational learning on a 4 point scale. This will be asked after watching the video.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome is the influence of the predictors depression, empathy and personality traits on the change in the willingeness to take OLP.
