Inclusion criteria: Informed consent Diagnosis of sickle cell disease and therapy with hydroxycarbamide
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Absence of informed consent

| Hydroxycarbamide therapy leads to a decrease in the frequency of pain crises (defined as pain in different localizations requiring the use of analgesics) and a decrease in days with pain per year (measured with an age-adjusted pain scale) in CAYAs. | — |
