Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, age 18-60 years, normal body weight (BMI<35), first arthroscopic surgery with replacement of the anterior cruciate ligament using Hamstring tendonoplasty, meniscus resection, analgesia using femoral nerve block

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Multiligamentous injury, pervious ligament surgery, gonarthrosis, artificial meniscal implantation, cartilage replacement procedure, absent declaration of consent, rejection to participate at any time

Impact of a perioperative femoral nerve block in anterior cruciate ligament replacement using Hamstring tendonplasty on knee function using the IKDC 2000 score

MeasureTime frame
Isokinetic measurement after four and six month, duration of incapability to work, subjective functional outcome (Lysholm score, Tegner activity scale), dynamometry and kinematic analysis of several jump tests, gait analysis, mental readiness to return to sport after six months
