Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with cSDH where surgery is necessary informed consent possible above 18 years of age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: informed consent not possbile due to dementia, emergency surgery, cognitive impairment

clinical outcome (mRS and NIHSS) differences in the radiological and intraoperative appearance in relation to laboratory values in the blood and hematoma fluid
