Four digital scanners and one conventional impression are reviewed for accuracy.

Interventions
Group 1: The examination is performed at a regular check-up appointment at the Department of Orthodontics. First, photos of the teeth are taken. Afterwards, a reference key will be attached reversibly
follow-up examinations are not necessary. The time required for all impressions will be approx. 60 minutes.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - MB appliance in the lower jaw in situ for at least 3 months - metal straps on teeth 36,46 or 37,47 (if 36,46 are not existing) - metal brackets on all other teeth mesial thereof
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - metal-colored restorations in the lower jaw - Extractions or agenesis of permanent teeth if gap(s) = 2 mm
