Group 1: Preterm neonates, born in the Universitäts-Frauenklinik Göttingen. During the hospital stay, caregivers and parents will be asked to complete a questionnaire regarding the child´s nutritiona

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Arm 1: preterm neonates, born in the Universitäts-Frauenklinik Göttingen. - Arm 2: term neonates, born in the Universitäts-Frauenklinik Göttingen. - retrospective arm: preterm and term neonates, born in the Universitäts-Frauenklinik Göttingen, whose parents agreed in the use of their data for clinical trials within the latest data protection regulation from the Universitätsmedizin Göttingen. Further inclusion criteria for all arms: signed declaration of consent by their parents/ custodians.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - For all arms: expected parental emotional instability due to tragic clinical course of a sibling or the neonate itself. - congenital anomalies (incl. esophageal atresia, gastroschisis, enteroschisis, megacystis-microcolon-intestinal hypoperistalsis syndrome (MMIHS), omphalocele, duodenal atresia, anal atresia).

Objective and subjective (to families) identification of the importance of nutritional disorders in premature neonates during the first year of life compared to subjective assessment and perception of the healthcare professionals. This will be assessed using the MCH scale.	—

Secondary

- characterization of nutricional disorders. - identification of risk and influencing factors of the study population. - identification of maternal risk and influencing factors. - comparison of the assessment and perception of different healthcare professionals regarding nutricional disorders of the participating infants. - assessment of the relevance of nutricional disorders to pediatricians caring for the infants after hospital discharge.	—
