Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients after esophagectomy who underwent either open, hybrid-laparoscopic, or robotic-assisted surgery. period retrospective: 01.01.2012-15.03.2022

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. pregnancy / lactation 2. premature termination of surgery in case of inoperability 3. active COVID-19 infection / HSV pneumonia 4. multiple-stage esophagectomy (different days)
