Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 15 Patients with congenital heart disease; age: 18-29), 15 Relatives of the patients with congenital heart diseases (from arm 1): parents or brother/sister, 15 Patients with an acquired heart disease (age: 39-59) such as heart failure (NYHA II-IV), coronary artery diseases with status after acute cardiac syndrome with or/ without cardiac interventions, severe disorders of the rhythm of heart. Good knowledge of language (German), agreement to Video-Audio-Interviews

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No knowledge of speaking German, Cognitive disability to answer questions in an 90min interview, severe psychiatric diseases: for example psychotic diseases, severe depressive disorders, bipolar affective disorders with a manic or severe depressive episode or patients with severe addiction disorders

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Experiences of time/temporality and ideas of good life from patients with cardiac diseases. Interviews from 03/2022 to 06/2024. The patients and relatives will be interviewed 2 times. In the first interview they will be asked of their illness, ideas of good life and time experience. In the secoond interview they will be asked about biographical experiences and relationships to make a psychodynamic evaluation (with CCRT and OPD-2). Patients should also answer some questionaires about quality of life and psychopathology but also about sociodemograhic facts.
