Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with a musculoskeletal tumor who are being treated surgically at the Heidelberg University Hospital are included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age under 18 years • Inability to consent • Known intolerance to SonoVue® or other ultrasound contrast media. • Severe heart failure (NYHA III and IV), right-to-left shunt in the heart, uncontrollable high blood pressure. • Severe pulmonary disease, particularly severe obstructive pulmonary disease, ARDS and severe pulmonary arterial hypertension. • Myocardial infarction within the last 14 days. • Disorders of the galactose metabolism (galactosemia). • Pregnancy and breast feeding period. • Lack of informed consent or refusal to participate.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The perfusion between benign and malignant soft tissue tumors differs significantly.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Different perfusion patterns can be determined in the area of ??the tumor mass and thus the biopsy planning can be improved.
